STUDIO POLICIES
At Maine Pilates, we offer a variety of classes at different intensity levels – so you can choose the class that is right for your body on any given day. Maine Pilates classes are rooted in the foundational principles of Pilates and a focus on correct form because we know that’s how you can get the most out of your movement. Our Reformer🔥 classes are a great choice for a safe and challenging workout, whether you’ve been practicing Pilates for years or it's your first class!
To ensure your safety and progress, Instructor approval is required before joining Reformer🔥🔥 classes. This approval is based on your ability to perform exercises in Reformer🔥 class with correct form, with ease and without a lot of explanation.
Typically, attending 4 to 10 Reformer🔥 classes helps you learn and apply the foundational movements necessary for Reformer🔥🔥 classes. Maine Pilates instructors are there to support you in your Pilates journey and let you know when you’re ready to progress to higher intensity levels. You are always invited to chat with your instructors about your Pilates goals.
20 - 30 Reformer🔥🔥 classes are recommended before being invited to Reformer🔥🔥🔥 classes.
HEALTH HISTORY FORM
Maine Pilates Instructors want to provide you with individualized support and modifications whenever they can so that you can make the most of each of our classes. By ensuring that your Health History Form is up to date with any new injuries or sensitivities, you can help your instructor be best prepared to assist you during class. You can email hello@mainepilates.com for any questions you have about filling out your Health History Form
CANCELLATIONS
How to CancelLog in to your account or the Maine Pilates app (Apple App or Google Play.).
Deadline to CancelMaine Pilates classes are small so instructors are able to offer you the highest level of instructions. Giving enough notice when you need to cancel frees up your reserved spot in class for someone on the waitlist. Canceling less thant 12 hours before your scheduled class will incur a fee. For private lessons, cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson.
Late Cancellation FeeWe understand that late cancellations sometimes happen. Because late cancellations make it harder for someone on the waitlist to take that spot, you will be charged a fee of $10+ tax if you cancel with less than 12 hours' notice. Please note that rescheduling less than 12 hours prior to class is considered a late cancellation.
Unlimited Monthly Members will be charged a fee of $15+ tax for cancellations less than 12 hours before class.
No ShowsIf you do not cancel and you do not show up to your scheduled class without notifying the studio beforehand, you will be charged a fee of $15.00+ tax and lose your class credit.Unlimited Monthly Members will be charged a fee of $20+ tax and lose the credit for the day for a No Show.
Canceling within the window allows us to maintain our affordable rates and schedule of personalized classes, which is really important to us. Thank you for supporting this policy and canceling your attendance as soon as possible.

Our hardwood floors are too slippery for non-grip socks, so for your safety, please wear grippy socks or bare feet while in the studio. Grippy socks are available for purchase in our studios and online.
